News & Updates

Thanks to the incredible generosity, enthusiasm and support of our wonderful St Philips community, we are thrilled to share that the Friends of St Philips have raised an amazing £25,482 during the 2025/26 academic year!

We couldn't be prouder of what we have achieved together. Every cake bought, raffle ticket purchased, event attended and hour volunteered has contributed to this fantastic total.

Most importantly, these funds will make a real and lasting difference, enriching the experiences and opportunities available to every child at St Philips.

  • £25,482 is an incredible amount of money and every penny has been invested back into our children.

Working closely with the school, we have carefully allocated the funds to ensure that every year group benefits, while also providing additional support for key areas of the curriculum. Our aim has always been to maximise the impact of every pound raised, creating opportunities and enhancing the day-to-day experiences of all the children at St Philips.

    • Investment in technology - for both pupils and teachers, supporting the digital literacy curriculum and ensuring our children continue to develop the skills they need in an increasingly digital world.
    • Additional classroom support  - funding an extra hour of teaching assistant support in classrooms every day throughout the year.
    • Additional wellbeing and emotional support - ensuring children have access to the care and guidance they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
    • Classroom enhancements – giving every class the opportunity to choose new equipment, resources and activities - chosen by the kids, for the kids.
    • Supporting foundation subjects – investing in RE, PE, Art and Music through enriched experiences, additional staffing and specialist equipment.
